College leand and change 2022

We are thrilled to announce that the much-awaited training event, College Lead and Change, is back! This year, the event will take place on the 11th and 12th of July. After years of online/hybrid delivery, we're excited to offer two days of in-person training at City of Glasgow College.

College Lead and Change is our flagship summer training course designed to empower student leaders to bring about positive change within your associations and beyond. Led by experienced NUS Charity staff members, this event will provide officers with the tools, knowledge, and inspiration to make a lasting impact during their year in office.

The two-day programme is carefully crafted to foster collaboration and learning among delegates. They will have the opportunity to connect with fellow officers from College SAs across Scotland, creating a network of support and shared experiences. By learning from one another, they will gain a deeper understanding of the student movement and how to effectively drive change.

We understand that being a first or second-year delegate can be both exciting and challenging. That's why College Lead and Change '23 encourages officers to be honest about what they know and don't know. This training will equip them with the skills and confidence to navigate the year ahead, ensuring they can make a meaningful difference.

As always, this training is free for officers thanks to the funding from the SFC to the Developing College Students’ Associations project.
